Description
Join the Tampa Bay alumni chapter and
host Mike Szabo (CWR ’12, CWR ’16)
for socializing and soccer as we kick summer into high gear
with the Tampa Bay Rowdies!
We’ll kick off the evening with a private tailgate outside Al Lang Stadium
featuring traditional stadium fare, soft drinks and
the chance to meet fellow alumni.
Just before kick-off, children in attendance
can hit the field to create a rally tunnel and high-five entering players!

5:30 p.m. - Tailgate begins
7 p.m. - Kids head to the field for the rally tunnel

What should I wear?
Casual attire is acceptable.
Where will we meet?
The complimentary tailgate will take place under a tent just outside the stadium, in the green space located on the Northeast side of the stadium near Gate 1. The onsite staff member will have a CWRU flag to help you locate our tent. The map at the bottom of the FAQs shows parking locations and shows the area in which we will meet up before the game.
Who can participate in the rally tunnel out on the field?
Children aged 12 and under will be able to head into the stadium with a Rowdies staff member prior to kickoff to form a tunnel for the players to run through. Children will be able to high-five players as they run out onto the field.

How do I get there and where should I park?
Directions
Heading to the stadium from the North or South it would be easiest to take I-275 to the 5th Ave S/Dali Blvd exit and head East towards 1st Street South. Turn North (left) onto 1st Street South. The Al Lang Stadium will be on your right, on the bay. For more specific directions please follow this link.
Parking
Lot A at Al Lang Stadium is accessible for pass holders only. Fans without Lot A passes should head to Lot B on 2nd St. S for $5. Fans may also park in the nearby South Core garage, reachable from First Ave. S., between First and Second Streets for $5. Another option is the Sundial garage, a six-minute walk from the stadium, on Second Ave. N., between First and Second Sts. Rates for these facilities are usually $5 but could be up to $10, depending on what other downtown special events may coincide with games, such as on the Fourth of July. Limited parking is also offered in the Mahaffey Theater garage for $10 when the garage is not in use by theater patrons.If fans decide to park on-street instead of lots and garages, they should pay close attention to the posted time limits or other requirements.

The Downtown Looper passes by Al Lang Stadium, with a stop located at the Hilton, 333 First St. S., every 15 minutes, and circulates between all of the city’s hotels, attractions and major parking facilities.The St. Petersburg Trolley's Downtown Looper operates 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with service until midnight on Saturday. Is my registration transferrable?
Registrations are not transferrable to another individual. Name tags will be available upon check-in.
What if the event is sold out?
